An analog clock uses an hour hand and a minute hand to show the time.

A digital clock uses only numbers to show the time.

To read the analog clock, first find the hour hand.

The hour hand points between the 5 and the 6. It shows 5 hours.

Next, read the minutes. Start at the 12. Count by 5s until you reach the minute hand. The minute hand shows 30 minutes.
