Since a rhombus has four sides, it is a type of quadrilateral. So, some quadrilaterals are rhombuses.

But, some quadrilaterals are not rhombuses. For example, this quadrilateral does not have four congruent sides.

So, a quadrilateral is sometimes a rhombus.
